Foxtrail | Thank you to our sponsors and volunteers!
FoxTrail is the Winter Running series based in and around the beautiful Foxlake Adventures in Dunbar, East Lothian. The five race series, set to the backdrop of East Lothian’s most iconic beaches, estuaries and coastline, will be centred primarily on the East Neuk of the county between Lochhouses and Belhaven beach, utilising what must be some of the most scenic trail routes in the country.

Thank you to our sponsors and volunteers!

Our biggest and best John Muir Way Ultra could not have gone ahead without our supportive sponsors and wonderful volunteers.

Firstly, thank you to all our volunteer marshals who gave up their time to help us out on the day of the event and point our runners in the right direction! Your help is very much appreciated.

Big shout out to Lothian Motor Coaches who transported all our runners in style to the start line from Foxlake Adventures.

The Archerfield Walled Garden have been supporting our events for four years now and we are so grateful for their continued support. All East Lothian based FoxTrailers are sure to have visited Archerfield Walled Garden for a bite to eat, a browse in the shop, a wander around the fairy trail or perhaps a visit to their spectatular christmas fairy trail which is a beautiful… Archerfield were on hand on the day of the Ultra at the second aid station providing food and water. We are very grateful for their continued support.

Active Root have been loyal supporters of Foxtrail and the Ultra events. They provided us with plenty of their tasty natural sports drink. They also donated some spot prizes which some lucky runners walked away with on the day. We are very grateful for their continued support.

Last but not least the crew at North Berwick RNLI Lifeboat who helped us out on the day of the race with traffic control and also allowed us to take over their lifeboat station for a few hours for the relay changeover and base for aid station three.  Thank you also to some of the RNLI crew who assisted us on the day with traffic control. Part of the entry fee for the JMWU goes to the RNLI.

Thank you very much to each and everyone of our supporters and volunteers. Your assistance is very  much appreciated from all of the race organisation team and our runners.
