FOXTRAIL WINTER RUNNING SERIES,
RACE FOUR 10K, Balgone
Race 4 takes us away from FoxTrail HQ to Balgone Estate, North Berwick. This year is the fourth year of Balgone being host to a race and it’s fair to say last year did not disappoint! 10k of mud, mud, more mud, and hills! 302ft of ascent doesn’t sound much, but the energy sapping mud ensures a tough race is in store… certainly not one to underestimate.
If wet, this race has the potential to be the muddiest of the series once again. Challenging terrain and some technical sections will have you feeling like you have earnt the impending festive splurge!
Balgone is also the home to the ‘Pinnacle of obstacle racing’, Total Warrior.

Please note that there will be a mixture of different and challenging terrain on the route and conditions will be muddy, soft and very slippy in areas. We would recommend using trail running shoes for the race.
