03 Feb Race 5: Harvest Moon Half Marathon.
Harvest Moon holidays provided us with an incredibly picturesque venue for Race 5 of the Foxtrail Winter Running Series. The race starts at the Harvest moon treehouses and takes you along 13.1 miles of glorious trails, woodland tracks, clifftop views, sand and the iconic Peffer Burn crossing.
The frosty weather meant the course was less muddy than previous years and instead was fairly hard under foot. Peffer Burn was even frozen over up until Friday afternoon!! The sun shone down all morning though providing our Foxtrailers with some cracking views on the route.
Richard Loucht took first place with a time of 1:25:39.5. Nicola Duncan was first female and took 2nd place overall with a time of 1:25:43.9.

Thank you once again to Harvest Moon for providing us with such a beautiful location to host a half marathon.
One more race to go in the Winter Running Series and the 5K series… We look forward to seeing you again on the 2nd March where we will be back at Foxtrail HQ for the 13K and 5K races. See you sooooon!
